Chapter One: The Meeting

It was a hot, summer day. Awesome was walking down one of the dirt roads of Jamaa, minding his own business, trying to keep the sweat from making his fur wet and sticky. His best friend, Flower, (a girl wolf who he had an instant crush on), invited him to the cafe to get some cold Frappuchinos. Cold. That was the key word that made Awesome walk faster to get to the cafe. He needed to get away from the heat of the burning, orange sun.

When Awesome got to the cafe, he saw something that made his heart pound slightly. A little white bunny and a little gray-black bunny were laying in the far corner of the cafe, holding paws. They looked on the edge of life, their tiny chests barely moving. Before sitting down next to Flower, he rushed over to the bunny pair.

"Are you okay? Hello? Guys, I'm talking to you!" Awesome quietly whispered to the helpless creatures. It looked like there was no hope for them. Right when he was about to leave these rabbits be, Awesome heard a voice behind him.

"Please. Help. Get us out of here..", the white bunny whispered hoarsely. He managed to heave himself up on his paws, only to fall to the ground again, breathing deeply.

"What do you need me to do? Who are you? Why are you here? And most important of all, what happened to you?" Awesome asked, attentively. He looked over to the other side of the cafe. Flower was sitting impatiently, texting on her I-Paw.

"I'll explain later. Please.. Get me and my sister outside of this cafe as soon as possible...I'm afraid his force is too overwhelming for us to bare anymore...Please...", the bunny whispered again. Awesome did as he was told. He rushed outside. As soon as they got out, both bunnies sat up and looked at Awesome curiously.

"Is he the one? Is he? Is he?", the gray bunny asked excitedly. She started jumping up and down, despite the fact that a few moments ago she was laying on the cold cafe floor, clinging on to her life. The white bunny, seemingly the older one, hushed his sister with a flick of his little paw.

"Am I the what?" Awesome asked, seriously confused. The white bunny nodded to his sister.

"You see, its a long story. To make it shorter, we will tell you the basic facts of what is happening. There is a wolf living here among us. He seems real, but he's actually not. This wolf...is the ghost of a dead soul that lived long ago. Basically, he is like a virus. On hot, summer's nights, he comes with an uninvited visit of his victim's house. We don't know exactly what he does to every Jammer, but to us, it was torture. There is no explanation of what he does, kills for fun, scares his victims and plays with them like a cat with a mouse. He infects them with something that only one player in the whole world of Jamaa can see. Apparently, that player is you," the older one finished.

"So this wolf...he's like.. a killer?" Awesome asked, startled by this news. He had never heard of anyone in the world like this.

"Basically, yes."

"But how come only I saw you? Everyone else acted like you were not even there, even though there were quite a few people sitting close to your spot," Awesome was getting spooked by this.

"Ahh, you see, the whole reason only you saw us was that YOU are the 'Chosen Player'. You can see everyone being tortured by this wolf, even people that are not near you. And, just before you ask this question, I will give you an answer. You didn't see this wolf because he had just finished torturing. No one else knew that spot was there. It's quite a mystery, this whole fact, you see," the white rabbit told Awesome.

Awesome nodded his head. His Frappucino could wait. Right now, Awesome had to bring these two bunnies to his den for further questioning. Before they left, both bunnies spoke, one after the other.

"I'm Little," the white one said.

"And I'm Tiny", the gray-black one said.

Little.Tiny.

"And I'm Awesome," Awesome said, as they headed off toward his den, while the setting sun now shone down on them, brightly as ever.

Chapter Two: Questions

As the trio walked to Awesome's house, they talked like old friends. Little and Tiny exchanged stories of their adventures, and Awesome told them about Flower.

As soon as they got to his house, though, Awesome's expression darkened. He took out his key, unlocked the door to his of his house, and told the bunnies to make themselves at home.

Little sat on a blue bean bag, and Tiny sat on a pixelated chair. They looked at Awesome intently, as if they knew he was going to say something. Awesome took a deep breath, and then all the questions came pouring out:

"How does this thing look like? Can you see it if you are not the one? What are some of its methods? Can you stop it? Does it have any followers? Can it-"

"WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, hold up there, one question at a time," Tiny exclaimed. One by one, she gave the answers:

  1. This 'thing' is a black wolf with no eyes.
  2. You cannot see it unless you are being tortured by it or if you are the one.
  3. Methods? Unknown, for sure.
  4. So far, no one has been able to stop it.
  5. As far as we know, it has no followers.

"Thanks, sorry for being so ambitious," Awesome apologized. He stared at the floor, made a few quick notes in his head, and looked up at the two bunnies.

"Well, I'll think about this, but I see you are very hungry. Who wants watermelon?" Awesome said with pleasure.

"ME!!" both bunnies screamed. Awesome smiled.

As he watched the two devour freshly cut watermelon slices, he had a sudden strange feeling. It was a very weird feeling. Like someone was watching him.
