Author's Note[]

Okay, so yeah, hi. I'm Shy.

I'm going to delete Rose's Story. Why? Because all of my thoughts and words are jumbled up and I can't even make sense of the comments anymore.

DX

so, don't kill me, okay?

This is the first of 'Rose's Story', no idea if going to make a sequel.

Also: Any characters from Eragon/Eldest/Brisingr/Inheritance I DO NOT OWN.

I REPEAT: I DO NOT OWN.

I hughly reccomend this series because it's full of action and adventure. I'm currently rereading the series for the fourth time O.o

The Experiment[]

Rose tinkered on an object. She was 18, and she loved experimenting, and books.

Especially books.

Her favorite series was 'The Inheritance Cycle', and she had just invented an object. This object would let her teleport into any book or book series, and live like the characters. Rose had worked at The Literary Emporium, where she got to meet authors, writers, and people of all kinds.

Rose had golden-brown hair, grayish green eyes, and she mostly wore T-shirts, flannel shirts, and blue jeans. Tonight was no different.

Rose set down the object on her workbench. "Soon I'll get to try this out!" She whisper-shouted.

The next day Rose raced to work, and hurried to her office, but she was stopped by her boss, Proffessor Irwin.

"Rose!" He barked, "Explain this!" He held up her teleporter.

"S-sir I c-can explain!" She stammered, unsure.

"It's brilliant!" His face lit up. "Absolutely genius!"

"Thank you sir!" Rose happily replied. I'm not in trouble, thank god! She thought.

"I'm assuming you wish to test it out?"

"Yes!" Rose nodded.

"Very well, but test it on a small book."

"Thank you!" Rose exclaimed again, and hugged the Proffessor. "I'll be right back!" She raced off.

A few seconds later had set up the teleporter to 'The Ugly Duckling', one of her favorites.

She flipped it on, and pushed a button. Soon, she was standing on a bank, several ducks and the ugly duckling behind them.

"Yes!" Rose whispered. She hit the 'Office' button on the teleporter, and she ran back to tell everyone about the sucess.

Chapter Two: To Imagination[]

Rose had just finished perfecting her teleporter and gotten permission from Irwin to go into Eragon! Rose hummed happily to herself.

Finally! Yay! Rose thought. But I have to keep my gaurd up. Urgals, and other creatures could be there waiting to ambush me, wherever I go..

Rose quickly grabbed a tan bag. She had filled it with the following:

2 Waterbottles

A week's supply of food

The Inheritance Cycle books (X3)

A journal

A headband

A teleporter

A sword

After she had practiced a few more times on old nursery ryhmes, Rose felt confident she was going to make this. She didn't know how long she would be gone, but she knew she would be gone for at least a week. She said goodbye to her friends, she set off to the world of Christopher Paolini's imagination.

The wind whipped around Rose's hair. She was standing ontop of a huge cliff.

Ohshitohshitohshit! Rose thought, frantically. She walked near the edge but she slipped and fell.

Oh fu- Her thoughts were cut off as a figure caught her. Rose blinked in surprise as she realuzed she was riding on the back of a giant green dragon!

"H-Hello.. T-Thank you.." Rose murmered, a bit stunned still.

"No problem love!" Came a reply from a male, obviously the flirty type.

"I'm Rose, you are...?"

"Jasper, your personal hero!" He chuckled. "Nice name you have."

Rose laughed a bit too. "Thank you, I probably would've fallen to my death if it weren't for my hero."

Now it was Jasper's turn to laugh. "Where ya from love? I could've sworn you sorta fell out of the sky."

"Oh.. uhm... well I'm from uh.." Rose stammered, she couldn't tell this person where she really was from!

"Can't remember? Oh well." Jasper sighed. "I suppose you'll have to return to your home anyway." He started to direct the dragon back towards the cliff.

"No! I mean, uh, I can stay for a while, if you want.." Rose trailed off.

"Really? Then I'll take you to the acadamy, you'll get your own dragon egg with me and everything..!" He began, excited.

"T-Thanks!" Rose squeaked and said.

Teaser[]

Rose sank to the ground, her body covered in ashes from the fire. She shivered, her knees trembling as she sat next to Jasper, his body still. "J-Jasper?" Rose choked out through tears. "Y-You can't die. I love you too much for that to happen.."

I'm so morbid.

...No, he's not going to die....

AHAHAHAHAHA PLOT TWIST HE MIGHT AHAHAHAHA

jk jk jk XD

All Good Things[]

Rose hummed as she flew on top of her bright red dragon, Ralph. A few weeks had passed, filled to the brim with vigorious swordfighting and using the basics of magic. Jasper had his own dragon, Emerald.

Rose... please don't be mad at me for saying this, but you do know you'll have to return home. Soon, might I add. Ralph said slowly, swooping over a cloud.

Ralph, I know.. I just.. I don't want this to end. Life here has been so good. Rose replied and grabbed the teleporter out of her bag. I guess all good things will have to come to an end though..

"Rose! Rose!? Where is she, that woman?" A voice cut through the sky. "Rose! There's a huge emergency!"

Jasper cut through the clouds on Emerald like a rocket.

"Jasper? What's wrong? Oh please don't say we have to go visit Murgtah again!" Rose complained. She hated Murgtah, everytime the two went there for swordfighting, he always tried to hit on her.

"What!? No, no! There's a Shade!" Jasper's voice was frantic.
