My name is Duchess.
I used to be lame, Until one day.
I was dancing in Club Geoz, alone.
Nobody ever goes there, but I went there anyways.
I thought I was cool. Wearing my red blanket over my back, Wearing my cool bracelets,
But I wasn't.
I didn't know I wasn't cool, Until somebody said it out loud.
It was a wolf named Major Fastclaw.
They walked into Club Geoz to go to the photobooth.
They saw me, and said:
"You know you're not cool, right?"
I stared at them in disbelief.
I was cool, right? I went home.
I thought about what that rude wolf said all night.
"Haha, look at the loser!"
"She's so ugly!"
"Ew, look at her weird blanket!"
I stared at everybody around me.
They didn't stop.
"You think we're all gonna listen to you, loser?"
I felt tears streaming down my face. I had cried in front of everybody.
Maybe I was a loser.
I woke up, breathing heavily.
It was all a dream. I didn't cry in front of everybody!
Maybe I still have a chance to be cool... I thought.
I ran all around Jamaa, looking for Major Fastclaw.
I finally found him, shopping in Jam Mart Clothing.
"Hey, you! Major!" I yelled.
"What do you want, loser?" He replied back.
"I am cool. You are wrong!" I screamed. I kept thinking: I am cool. I am cool.
"No you're not, you stupid little raccoon!" He said, with a mean smirk on his face.
"Y-Yeah I am! I have cool bracelets, and-and a cool blanket!" I said back, choking back my tears.
"Nobody wears blankets, idiot! Don't you know anything about what actual cool people wear?"
He shredded my blanket with his claw. I quickly took it off my back. I stared at it, with a sad face.
He had shredded the blanket that I made all on my own. A tear fell down onto the torn blanket.
"Are you gonna cry, little baby?" He barked, that mean smirk still spread across his face.
"No. I'm not going to cry. I don't care what you say about me, Major." I quickly snapped.
"Pfft, you don't mean that." He walked off, and a pair of sunglasses fell from his bag.
I slipped them on, and looked at my reflection in a shiny helmet that was on display.
I looked cool. I threw the torn up blanket onto my back. I shouldn't care about what people
say about me. You shouldn't care about what people say about you, either.
