This actually happened. Seriously, this site scared me! I'm not even kidding about this.
So Tech was just looking up some kitty info, because she loves cats. She was writing a description of her fursona, a calico, for a story FoxStray was writing. She looked up the height and weight of a calico and went to Answers.com.
And suddenly, it redirected her to a Windows security site saying that her PC was infected with a Trojan/malware. She jumped at the sudden sight, unable to close the pop up. It kept coming back up, along with another tab. It said that her browsing activity was locked. She couldn't close the page.
A deep beep shot through her headphones, causing her to throw them off. She jumped back, hitting her head on the wall behind her. She growled, looking back at the screen. Darn, she couldn't finish one of the Quizzes on Quotev or finish the picture she was drawing.
She restarted her computer and everything was normal, shaking the whole time. It was probably some sort of scareware that actually scared her.
Tech isn't gonna be going on Answers.com anymore.
