PG-13 WARNING

A story by Diamonddragon88

CHAPTER 1:

The room was dark and gloomy, and barely lit by the small flickering of a robug. A small figure sat on his bed, reading, when all of the sudden, a larger figure stormed into the room, smashing the door against the wall.

"DENNIS!" The figure roared, "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU, YOU NEED TO PRACTICE YOUR TRAINING NOT READING THIS STUPID FANTASY BOOKS!" With that, the figure grabbed the book out of Dennis' hand, and flung it across the room. "YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO ARNARCHIA, SON."

Dennis whimpered,"Reading is one of the best things in the world, dad. A wise man named Socrates once sai-"

"I DON'T CARE WHAT SOMEONE FROM 5,000 YEARS AGO SAID. YOU ARE THE NEXT IN LINE FOR THE RULE OF ANARCHIA, YET YOU ARE SITTING HERE, READING." The man stormed out of the room, leaving the boy in silence.

"ONE LAST THING," the man roared as he walked out the door,"ONE MORE INFRACTION, AND YOU'LL BE......ELIMINATED FROM THE GENERAL POPULATION."

That last note frightened Dennis. Surely his own father, leader of Anarchia, wouldn't dare send his own son to execution, would he? His father had a raging temper, but....that would be too far. All his life, Dennis had broken the basic rules of Anarchia. Reading was one of the most horrid things you could do in Anarachia, with drawing second worst. Yet Dennis did them both, secretly of course, but 4 times he had been caught. Unfortunatey, the maximum amount of errors someone could do before they were "eliminated" was 5.

Dennis was considered impure for the following reasons:

He liked books

He liked drawing

Dennis walked over to his tattered book, and began reading once more, unaware of the fate that would consume him.

The leader of Anarchia sat on his throne, thinking about his son. There was no room for error in the family liniage, and if his son survived, he would be ridiculed. Jeeves, his butler, walked hastiliy up to the throne. "Yes, your majesty?" Jeeves asked, innocently.

"Prepare the jury, I'm going to try to send my son to be executed."

"But SIR! If you do that, there will be no heirs for the throne!"

"No heirs is better than impure heirs."

CHAPTER 2:

Dennis shuffled along the dirty corridor, two guards dragging him to the courtroom. Many thoughts swirled in Dennis's head, but most revolved around the fact that the king had sent his own son to be executed. Sure, he was going on trial, but the king would "persuay" the jury to find any "impurities" guilty.

Dennis was literally thrown into the dimly lit courtroom. His father had never really cared for him, and if you thought that being a member of royalty was any privilige to Dennis, it surely wasn't. His father had hated him the moment he was born, calling him a devil child who was never meant to exist. Yet here he was, about to be sent out of existence.

"KNEEL BEFORE THE STAND" the king commanded. He showed no signs of regret in this.

Dennis kneeled before the stand, as the king demanded. "HOW DO YOU PLEAD? GUILTY, OR NOT GUILTY?"

"Father your honor, I have a good heart, though I break the rul-"

"GUILTY, OR NOT GUILTY??"

Dennis quietly mumbled,"Guilty."

"EXECUTION IT IS"

Dennis was dragged once more out of the courtroom, managing a hard glare at his father before the doors slammed shut. His execution would be short and painless, a quick bullet to the head.

After Dennis had left, the courtroom sat empty. Everyone knew what the other was thinking. "Who will be the heir now?"

CHAPTER 3:

The execution yard was empty, and a row of armed soldiers stood nearby, emotionless, intent on their purpose. The guards were weary to release their grip, so they strapped him to a nearby tree instead.

"I'm sorry I have to do this, Dennis." the smaller guard said while strapping Dennis to the tree.

"It's ok Charlie, we both knew this time would come."

The two guards slowly walked away, and stood nearby, whilst the firing squad loaded their guns. It was a sick joke, but Dennis tried to figure out which one would put the lead into his skull. FInally, the firing squad was ready. Dennis looked up at the hovercam recording the event. Every execution was filmed, and he knew this one was probably playing on every television in the nation. Dennis closed his eyes, and waited for the first bullet.

Out of nowhere, A sharp pain struck his forehead, and when Dennis opened his eyes, he was no longer Dennis. He could see the executioners unloading their guns, preparing for the final round. It was customary for the executioners to fire 2 rounds of bullets into the impure victim. Watching this, he knew he was dead. He looked at his bullet-laden corpse, and whimpered. He would not be missed. But Dennis wanted revenge. He had been loyal to his homeland, yet he had been killed. Right then, Dennis had an idea. An awful, goulish idea.
